Ayurveda
One of the key principles of Ayurvedic Yoga is that different yoga practices are suitable for different body types and imbalances. For instance, individuals with a Vata imbalance benefit from slow, grounding poses and deep breathing, while those with excess Pitta are advised to practice cooling, calming postures. Kapha-dominant individuals, on the other hand, thrive with dynamic, energizing movements. By aligning yoga practices with Ayurvedic principles, individuals can achieve a deeper sense of harmony within themselves and their environment.
Beyond physical postures, Ayurvedic Yoga also emphasizes detoxification, mindfulness, and proper diet to support the body's natural rhythms. It encourages the use of herbal remedies, self-care rituals, and seasonal adaptations to maintain balance. Through this integrative approach, Ayurvedic Yoga not only improves flexibility and strength but also enhances inner peace, vitality, and longevity, making it a powerful tool for holistic health and spiritual growth.

Doshas in Ayurveda?
In Ayurveda, doshas are the three fundamental energies or biological forces that govern all physical and mental processes in the body. They represent a combination of the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) and determine an individual’s constitution (Prakriti), health tendencies, and personality traits.
Each person has a unique dosha constitution (a mix of all three, but usually one or two dominant). Keeping them balanced through diet, lifestyle, and Ayurvedic practices is key to good health.

- Vata, characterized by air and space, influences creativity and movement. It governs bodily functions related to motion.
- Vata is associated with movement and creativity, influencing a person's energy levels and mental agility.

- Qualities: Light, dry, cold, rough, irregular, mobile
- Balanced State: Creativity, energy, quick thinking
- Imbalanced State: Anxiety, dryness, digestive issues, insomnia
Pitta Dosha
- Pitta is associated with fire and water, influencing metabolism and transformation. It governs digestion, energy, and intelligence.
- Pitta relates to transformation and metabolism, playing a crucial role in digestion and energy production.
- (Fire + Water) – Controls digestion, metabolism, and transformation.
- Qualities: Hot, sharp, intense, oily, light
- Balanced State: Intelligence, strong digestion, leadership
- Imbalanced State: Anger, acidity, skin issues, inflammation
Kapha Dosha
- Kapha is linked to earth and water, influencing stability and structure. It governs bodily tissues and emotional balance.
- Kapha is linked to stability and structure, providing physical and emotional grounding to an individual.
- (Earth + Water) – Responsible for structure, stability, and lubrication.
- Qualities: Heavy, slow, steady, cool, soft, moist
- Balanced State: Strength, endurance, emotional calmness
- Imbalanced State: Weight gain, sluggishness, congestion
